This project automated the process of printing updated price labels in retail shops.
Previously, the first seller arriving each day had to manually look up which articles had changed price and print the labels one by one.
The new system, built with Python, reads a daily export of articles and automatically prints the required labels. By the time the first worker arrives at the shop, all updated labels are already waiting.
On average, this project saves the company around 30 minutes per day per shop, freeing up staff time for more valuable tasks and ensuring price changes are reflected immediately.
